Acid Dewpoint Detector

Model: ADPA-100

Overview

If the high-sulfur fuel is combusted, SO2 will be formed while a part of it will be oxidized into SO3. After SO3 combines with the steam in the flue gas, the sulfur acid will be formed. The condensation temperature of the sulfur acid in the flue gas is the acid dew point which is much higher than water dew point. The more SO3 (or the sulfur acid steam), the higher the acid dew point temperature. The acid dew point temperature can reach 140~160℃ or even higher.

The acid dewpoint detector helps the user know the acid dewpoint temperature under certain working conditions. Thus, the user can adjust the exhaust gas temperature according to the acid dewpoint temperature to create the best condition for saving energy and expanding the furnace life.

Features

Based on the conductivity sensor technology, the acid dewpoint detector features its accurate, reliable and timely measurement. It helps to reduce maintenance costs, improve production process efficiency, and continuously control the fuel gas temperature.

Applications

It is used for measuring the acid dewpoint in the flue to control the flue gas temperature and prevent the flue wall from corrosion caused by the acid dewpoint. Its applications cover the coal-fired power, aluminum, steel, metallurgy, waste generation power station, cement, and petrochemical plant.
